Grails 2.3 M1 Out Now!

We are extremely pleased to announce the release of Grails 2.3 M1! This is the first milestone release leading up to 2.3 GA.

The release includes numerous features and improvements. The most significant of which are:

  • Dependency Management based on Aether
  • New and improved Data binding mechanism
  • XSS Prevention
  • Asynchronous Programming APIs
  • Forked Execution for run-app, test-app and console
  • Hibernate 4 Support (in beta)

ZK plugin for Grails 2.2.0 Released

We are please to announce that ZK plugin for Grails, a leading RIA plugin providing an alternative View/Controller layer for Grails since 2008 has been released its latest 2.2.0 version.

This version of ZK plugin for Grails supports Grails 2.2.x and ships with ZK 6.5.2.

Grails 2.1.4 and 2.2.1, both of which include many bug fixes and performance improvements, have been released.

In particular the release notes include information about a couple of necessary breaking changes that you may want to review.

The next release of Grails will be Grails 2.3 milestone 1 which will be out shortly, stay tuned!

Test-Driven Development course with Grails - Thailand
