We are pleased to announce the releases of Grails 2.3.8, which includes bug fixes and improvements, and the second milestone of Grails 2.4. Grails 2.4 M2 ships with Groovy 2.3 beta 2, Spring 4.0.3 and Hibernate 4.3.5 and includes a number of new features and improvements.Please note a number of deprecated APIs are being removed in 2.4 so please be sure to check the upgrade notes.
Version 2.0 of the MongoDB plugin for Grails has been released. This version includes the following new features:
- GeoJSON shape support
- Support for SSL connections
- Support for MongoDB connection strings
- Optimized Batch Delete/Update support
