Grails.org is pleased to announce that the official Groovy & Grails training will be held in several cities in the world again next year. During this training students will learn to:

* Write programs using Groovy
* Integrate with Java
* Use Grails for Web development and persistence
* Have a sound knowledge of all the core concepts from the Web to the persistence layer
* Understand key development best practices that enable the development of higher quality code

This training will be provided in the following cities:

* Chicago, US
* New York, US
* San Francisco, US
* Toronto, Canada
* Paris, France
* London, UK
* Sydney, Australia

I'm very surprised there's no Grails training scheduled for Atlanta. If you search for "Grails" on Indeed.com and leave the city field blank, then on the search results expand the "Location" link on the left navigation bar - and you will see that Atlanta has the most jobs using Grails across the entire country! (do the same search for Groovy and you will find Atlanta in the top three above San Francisco).
